More about me
I've been in the visual-effects industry for most of my
career. I got my start as a hardware engineer at Masscomp,
then moved into graphics software at Masscomp, then Thinking
Machines, and eventually as CTO of GenArts (now part of
BorisFX) where I got an Emmy Award for Sapphire Plugins. I
still do some consulting work as a fractional CTO and
graphics/vfx developer.
I spend my non-work time traveling, playing and listening to
music, sailing, hiking, puttering around with AIs and Emacs
and building things.
